Today the undisputed dominating fiber of the sports scene is certainly polypropylene.
This is because, when practicing a sport, a light fabric able to dry quickly and minimize the discomfort derived from cold, sweat or moisture is the best ally.
Compared to natural fibres, polypropylene shows all these characteristics, but its high costs and the problems connected to production processes limited it use in sports apparel market. DHtech’s researchers have overcome these limits: thanks to a delicate treatment at low temperatures, today polypropylene is the main fabric of our range.

LIGHTWEIGHT
The polypropylene weighs about 30% less compared to wool and polyester and has the lowest lower weight between the textile fibers
MAXIMUM TRANSIPIRABILITY
Polypropylene has a lower liquid absorption coefficient and greater permeability to water vapor than other textile fibers. or poor absorption of moisture reduces the amount of liquid that remains in contact with the skin, ensuring benefits to the body and muscles. Furthermore, the high permeability value of PP ensures the rapid transfer of moisture through the fabric and therefore maximum breathability.
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE OF TEXTILE FIBERS
The bacteriostatic qualities and hypoallergenicity of isotactic PP make it the ideal fiber to wear in sport, even extreme: where hygienic conditions are put to the test and skin sensitivity is stressed, this material is able to guarantee comfort and well-being.
